Presence is the ability and willingness to fully engage with life. It connects us to the vitality and wisdom that flow from who we truly are. Immersing ourselves in each moment is essential to this engagement—it means being grounded, centered, and open to connection with others, the world, and the mysteries of life. Presence invites us to bring all of ourselves to each encounter; it’s a whole-body way of being. How do we remain present for ourselves and each other amidst the cacophony of political upheaval, climate crises, and conflicts raging around the world?
Change is inevitable, but how do we navigate it with grace and gratitude? In this service, we’ll explore how embracing change can deepen our spiritual practice. We’ll consider how gratitude can ground us in hope and action.
As I prepare to embark on my sabbatical, I reflect on the meaning and purpose of rest in our lives as individuals and as a religious community. Drawing from both personal experiences and ancient wisdom, this time apart is a gift for reflection and renewal. Together, we’ll explore the importance of spiritual rest, what it means to step back, and how we, as a congregation, will continue to live our mission during this period of growth. Join us for a meaningful service about the power of pausing, deepening connections, and preparing for what’s ahead.
The election is over, the results are in—but where do we go from here? In this post-election Sunday service, we’ll explore how we, as Unitarian Universalists, can move forward regardless of the outcome. How do we stay true to our values and mission in the days ahead? Join us as we reflect on the path forward and the work we are called to do.
As we approach a defining election, we gather to honor the foundation of our democracy—the premise that every voice matters—and the promise that our actions can create a more just and compassionate world. This Sunday, we reflect on our responsibility to democracy, the impact of our choices, and how we can be agents of meaningful change for a better future.
