Rev. Sinkford served as President of the UUA from 2001-9, the first African American President of a traditionally white denomination. He returned to the UUA as one of three Interim Co-Presidents in 2017. He is Minister Emeritus of the First Unitarian Church of Portland, OR and most recently served as Transitional Minister at All Souls Church Unitarian in Washington, DC. He is serving as Sabbatical Minister for Cedar Lane during Rev. Janamanchi's Sabbatical Leave.
