Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, President, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, will address the ethical implications for higher education of a society increasingly driven by science and technology. Dr. Hrabowski has been a transformational leader at UMBC over three decades, creating an extraordinary record of supporting and graduating students of color in science, technology, engineering, and math. He has:
- Been featured on 60 Minutes.
- Led President Obama’s Advisory Commission
- on Educational Excellence for African Americans.
- Participated in Dr. King’s 1963 Children’s
- Crusade in Birmingham.
- Received a list of awards and publications too
- numerous to mention.
