Children and Youth are invited to participate in our Summer of Social Justice! All activities are centered on hands-on fun for children and youth ages 5 and up. You are welcome to sign-up for one or all of the sessions. Register at tinyurl.com/CLSummer2024

Each week we will engage in various hands-on and engaging social justice activities with trained and entertaining guest speakers:

June 23 - Art Activism with the Poor People's Campaign

June 30 - Drag Queen Story Hour with Evita Peroxide

July 7 - Juggling for Social Justice with David Riker

July 14 - Save the Chesapeake Bay with The Face Paint Lady

July 21 - Racial Justice with the Story of Charlotte Scott and the Emancipation Proclamation

July 28 - Food Justice with group activities to help with food insecurity 

A love donation is requested of $5 per session for members of Cedar Lane ($10 per session for non-members of Cedar Lane) or a donation of $25 for the series for members (or $40 for non-members). Nursery care for those under age 5 is also available each and every Sunday in the Nursery downstairs in the main building.
