Spring Auction Celebration

Cedar Laners are Creating Connections

In fact, that’s the theme of this year’s Spring Auction, a fun tradition and terrific opportunity for you, your family and friends.

How does the Spring Auction work?

Each of us donates items, services or experiences that are listed in the auction catalog. Members and friends bid on them. Dinners in members’ homes, sports and theater tickets, games and toys, home baked goods, jewelry, vacation travel, restaurant meals – and so much more. Bidding can get ferocious! All proceeds support Cedar Lane’s operating budget.

When is it?

Auction season is from April 27 to May 12. The BIG Celebration event is May 10 with a live band, dancing, food, drink, youth activities, and in-person bidding, and it’s all for a great cause: our Cedar Lane.

Silent Auction is April 27 - May 12. It’s free! Peruse the online catalog, make your online bids – and walk away with great buys. Let your local friends know they can bid too. Every purchase benefits Cedar Lane.

May 10 is the in-person celebration with bidding on the ever-popular member hosted dinners, lots of music - singer/songwriter Kara Levchenko, the Downwire Band playing rock, blues, soul and Motown, dancing, great food and drink, fun times with new and longtime friends, games for the teens, and a juggler for the 12 and under crowd. Watching first then a chance to learn!

How can I participate?

Creating Connections is a terrific opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with long time Cedar Lane friends, and get the whole family involved in the fun. You can donate stuff for the catalog. Or volunteer to help, or bid online, and everyone should come to the exciting all-generations Celebration on May 10 at the family friendly time of 4:30 to 7:00 PM.
