Claiming the Stories that Shape Our Beliefs – Finding Your Personal Canon
A Workshop with Rev. Karen Gustafson
Wednesday, May 14 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the Chalice House
Unitarian Universalists draw spiritual grounding, wisdom, and inspiration from many historical and cultural sources. In this workshop, you’ll be invited to explore and share the stories, poems, music, and rituals that form the heart of your personal “canon.” These are the words, moments, and sources of meaning that guide you—maybe the ones you’d want spoken at your memorial, or the lines your kids tease you with, or the music that has carried you through grief, joy, or transition.
If you wish, bring three items to share. And if this idea is new to you, come anyway—there will be plenty to learn from one another.
