Banned Books Week celebrates the freedom to read and spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. We welcome Cedar Lane member Phyllis Naylor, an acclaimed author of many books including the 1992 Newbery medal winner Shiloh and the Alice book series, one of the most challenged and banned books in the last decade, into our pulpit.
